Dr. Steven Mendive, DDS


Dr. Mendive is graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He has been practicing in Troy, MT since finishing dental school in 1976. His practice is family oriented, treating people of all ages. Our office emphasizes patient education and preventative dentistry.  This means we make every attempt to prevent dental problems before they happen. Patient participation is critical in this endeavor. Dr. Mendive stays current in his knowledge of dental treatments and procedures so he is able to provide a wide range of services including restorations and major dental work if problems are or become present.

Mabel Edington has been our dental hygienist since June of 2007. She graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry, Loma Linda, California in 1972. Mabel provides not only excellent dental hygiene care, but also comprehensive oral hygiene instruction. Our new patients will typically have their first visit with Mabel where she will take a full mouth set of x-rays and do an oral exam. From there, a treatment plan will be developed by Dr. Mendive so any work that need to be done can happen in the most expedient, cost-effective way. We also have a recall system so our patients are assured to be notified when they are due for their check-ups.

Occasionally our patients needs demand that we adjust our schedules to meet that need, in that case we are happy to arrange for later appointments, these must be scheduled in advance.

We are happy to bill your insurance for you and will try to help you with any problems you may have with your insurance.
